Researchers examined 39 players aged 60 to 77 and found that after just twoweeks of Warcraft, their vocabulary, attention spans, spatial abilities and memorywere far improved over those who didn’t play the game.Interesting enough, it only benefited those who struggled in thosecategories to begin with. The adults who rated lowest through initial tests gained the most by the end of the two weeks. Those who scored high to begin with didn’t showany gains. The benefits are not tied solely toWoW, but the study is still quite the interesting find.
