Fuzo is getting this tested in a blood test but I know you can do saliva and urine, as well.

Are there reasons why he is undergoing this kind of test?

I understand how cortisol works, as I have done a lot of research on it. I mean the body is such complex ecosystem.

Having many edema issues for about 8 months now following many epidural/cortisone injections over a short period of time.. Many things ruled out and doc says possible high cortisol. Need to rule that out.

If cortisol is indeed high, what have you learned about how to lower it?

Magnesium. omega 3, and vitamin c will help lower cortisol levels, among a list of other things..Sexual intercourse being one..

Stress, high stress will cause increased cortisol also, so message therapy, stresss management things along those lines will aslo help lower cortisol.

Sexual intercourse helps with more than just lowering potentially high cortisol levels :D :D :D

man, i didnt even think of that but those spinal injections most def could have put his cortisol through the roof and that could also be the culprit to the horrilble water retention that is going on

That is when it all started, back in June. This has gone on way to long! Now other things are going on as a result from the edema.

yeah it is very suprising that the doc's arent taking it more seriously, especially since it can harm the heart lungs and kidneys

we have to find some answers soon because FUZO is suffering real bad. He can hardly walk,he is in pain all the time, his joints are hurting him something awful. He still pushes himself to work out but then it just makes it worse but he wont listen he has to work out he says. But after his intense work out and if you really know him he goes heavy all the time and doesnt ever have a lite day. And he so misses his kick boxing Muay thai I think its called.Right now its hard on him
