In fact, the attraction is so much of a factor that it often weakens the quality of either party's romantic relationships.Researchers discovered that couples who have attractive opposite-sex friends in their lives are less satisfied with their romantic relationships. Through every demographic, the results consistently showed that the more attractive the platonic friend was, the less satisfied the other friend was in their own romantic relationship.Scientists have their theories, but my hypothesis is that both sexes are always looking to upgrade, and keeping a hot friend nearby is like having relationship insurance: You might have a franchise player on the roster but you’re still flirting with the sexy free-agent prospect just in case.
