There's nothing we can really say about Adam Yauch's death today at 47 except that we'reshocked, saddened and appreciative of his body of work. When the BeastieBoys blew up, he was a force of rebelliousness, of youthful defiance -- of fun, good timesand good music. In later years, he was a staunch activist who fought not for the right toparty, but for the causes, like Tibet, that he believed in. i actually cried when i saw his last picture taken.MCA was always and will always be my favorite of the 3.talent doesn't come close.listen to Pauls Boutique and Ill Communication to see why.pure musical genius.

just goes to show you should never take anything for granted. great skills that are hard to come by and he had talent

It was very sad to hear. They were one of my favorite groups way back in the day. R.I.P.
