You’d figure that with the occasional dietary indulgence, like a nice piece ofcheesecake, there would at least be a grace period before the caloric sentencing, but anew study says otherwise. Researchers from Oxford University determined thatfat from a meal does not pass go, does not collect $200 and goes directly to yourwaistline -- as quickly as three hours after consumption. The study examineshow long it takes the body to convert the meal into fatty tissue, and the conclusion wasthat the average person can add up to three teaspoons of fat to their waistline withinhours, which would easily double Audrina Patridge’s size. The good newsis that the fat is placed in short-term storage and can be used for energy duringexercise. great article baby1 and i know geezer will want to smack me for this but: i diet hard, harder than probably 99% of the people out there. no sugar, i weigh everything and i eat on time every time. so when i am not prepping for a show and i have hit my goals of carbs, protein and fats for the day i will eat a little something bad and one day a wk or 2x a month i will go all out and have fast food. i know it is horrible but i dont drink and sweets are my weakness. i have the discipline to go 16wks 2x a year without sugar or good food so i owe it to myself to enjoy it for the remainder haha
