Yes, the results hint that, for men, the beautiful game is far more importantthan many of the most beautiful moments in their lives.The study found that10% of British males say that Euro 2012 is more important than their wedding day. Perhapseven more surprisingly, 15% are more likely to cry if their team wins than they are duringthe birth of their first child.The key for many is to watch the gamesuninterrupted, which is why one-third of men offered to do any and all of the chorespregame and one-fifth said they’d have dinner with the in-laws just so theywon’t be bothered from kickoff to the final whistle. 10% of guys went as far asoffering to give up beer so they could watch without interruptions. Younger men heavilyprioritized watching soccer over sex with their girlfriends, which is fair, since sex canbe had before or after the game.Good thing no one asked if they’d tradein their wives for a championship victory.
