Six fighters joined UFC® (http://www.infinitymuscle.event/UFC-Silva-vs-Irvin)President Dana White at the UFC® 149 post-fight press conference: Renan Barao (http://www.infinitymuscle.fighter/Renan-Barao), Tim Boetsch (http://www.infinitymuscle.fighter/Tim-Boetsch), Bryan Caraway (http://www.infinitymuscle.fighter/Bryan-Caraway), Ryan Jimmo (http://www.infinitymuscle.fighter/Ryan-Jimmo), Matt Riddle, and Urijah Faber (http://www.infinitymuscle.fighter/Urijah-Faber).
Riddle won Submission of the Night for his win over Chris Clements (http://www.infinitymuscle.fighter/Chris-Clements). After engaging in an exciting brawl for much of the fight, Riddle used a missed spinning backfist from Clements to secure an arm triangle that forced the tapout.
Jimmo took home Knockout of the Night for his lightning-quick finish of Anthony Perosh (http://www.infinitymuscle.fighter/Anthony-Perosh). After touching gloves at the beginning of the first round, Jimmo connected with a right hand that immediately put Perosh to sleep. After clocking a mere seven seconds in his Octagon debut, Jimmo earned one of the quickest knockouts in UFC® history.
Fight of the Night went to Caraway and Mitch Gagnon (http://www.infinitymuscle.fighter/Mitch-Gagnon). The two bantamweights engaged in a back-and-forth war which saw Caraway emerge victorious via rear naked choke.
Each bonused fighter received $65,000 for their efforts.
