I usually just have mine wrapped up in a few grocery bags and dump them in a dumpster a few miles from my house. Like outside a grocery store or something. Or even fill up a mcdonalds bag and toss in a grocery store or public trashcan, just make it look like your really throwing away a bag of mcdonalds.

Luckily I have a sharps container. I fill up the sharps container and properly dispose of them @ work.
