man thats going to be a tough fight for both of them. its very hard to bet against gsp. but ive seen shields beat some tough top guys like hendo. that impressed me.. i think there was something wrong with hendo in rds 2-3. gsp take downs are unreal. but shields is no walk in the park. i bet gsp will try and make this a stand up battle so i will say gsp by decision....i want to see nick diaz or the winner out of gsp and shields to fight anderson s.

Bolan really who has Gsp KO lately,no one he might be considered the best but when it comes to power he's a Mary. He's a technicly fighter thats it. He trains to beat you at your own game. But when it comes to knocking someone out he's a Mary. Also if someone would be able to tag his chin he would go to sleep big time just like serra did to him.Everyone is making this fight to be the all time fight of the worls I say bull shit. Jake sheilds has no power either and doesnt knock anyone out. When he fought Kampmann Kamp should of won that fight. Jake is over rated Imo. With the DAN HENDERSON fight dan was so out of shape sheilds couldnt even submitt dan and he mounted him several times.And when dan tag him dan just didnt have enough in him because he was out of shape.The Dan hendo that just won the 205 belt would crush Jake this time around. Look at who Jake has fought beside DAN HENDERSON and Kampman in the last 2 years he hasnt fought anyone that good

I think GSP working with Freddie Roach on his boxing has improved by leaps and bounds.
And I agree, I think GSP has a glass jaw, especially with that K.O. loss to Serra....Christ Serra hit him on top of his head and GSP got all fubar.
But now at least GSP is learning to jab his way in and soften up opponents.

I also agree Shields is overhyped.

I just want GSP to beat him so there might be a possible Anderson Vs. GSP match.

I agree with ya... Silvia is a monster.... But Sonnen ( dumbass) was 1 min away from winning the fight before he got submitted.... It of course wouldn't have counted because he fucked up and tested positive.... I'm still wondering what he was tested positive for... anyone know???

GSP doesnt KO anyone...if shields can handle him, it will go to dec...I bet my bottom dollar on GSP without a doubt...not even sure why shields gets a title shot but hey, it's better than hardy getting one (that was a joke). Shields last fight was with an aged Dan Henderson who has a devastating left hook but Dan is well over his prime and in that fight, Henderson was gassed by rd 2. Shields couldnt put away a gassed fighter, who didnt even have his hands up. He laid on top of him for 2 rounds...there's no way shields can handle gsp. His jj will be nullified by gsp's dominant wrestling. gsp will simply overwhelm shields and take him down and do whatever he wants with him. I'd rather see fitch get a try or maybe gsp meeting silva at a catch weight...anything can happen in mma, believe that. 4oz gloves can make that difference but i don't see shields even stealing a single round. GSP ALL DAY IMO
