Brock Lesnar Disappointed, Mentally And Phyiscally Strained

A second bout with Diverticulitis has put Brock Lesnar's career on hold as he battles the same disease that put him on the shelf in 2009 and talked to Mauro Ranallo about the difficulties he has been going through since being forced out of a June bout with Junior Dos Santos and a possible shot at the UFC Heavyweight Title:

“Yeah, I’m very disappointed. This has not only mentally but this has been very physically strenuous on me, since my first bout with Diverticulitis in 2009. Having to back away from a fight is not something that I think anybody likes to do, surely me. The first time it happened to me and to fall under the same circumstances, I thought I had this thing beaten and I’m very disappointed but getting past that and understand that my health is very important. I got another doctor’s appointment on Thursday and a consultation where we’re going to go over and just try to figure out the best approach to try to handle this and it may be surgery and it may be not. We’re reviewing other options here to try to help me but, I want to get back into the Octagon sooner than later.”

i am with apbt on this one. he has all kinds of god given talent for a monster of a man but his stand up and defense of the stand up are lacking. he needs to get used to getting hit it is part of the sport

You guys can say that again! lol

he's almost got a glass jaw imo

His health problems.. yeah, u dont want to screw around with your body. Some small thing could turn into a big thing, and before you know it, you (he) could be dead.

I hope his attenting MD's can figure out what's causing it and how to stop it/prevent it. It's not something he (or anyone else) should have to keep going thru again and again. I wish him the best.

I read that after his last loss that he was offered another go at wrestling but turned it down.
I think it would be a good move for him soon, as i don't think wrestling would be as hard on him with the right schedule

He isn't doing anything til he gets his diverticulitis in check. I recently came down with colitis and let me tell you its no joke and from what I understand divertic. is ten times worse. He probably lost a lot of weight never mind the pain he is in.
