Did anyone see this? What are your thoughts on it? Do you think the kid should have won the prize?

Earlier this month at a charity hockey event in Faribault, Minn., 11-year-old Nate Smith made an 89-foot shot from center ice to win $50,000.

Sounds like total BS to me..hope that kid takes it to court and WINS

Bottom line is he acted like someone he wasn't. That is really a tough decision.

it's a raffle someone was going to take the shot...and someone did and made it...tough decision though.

too bad if they keep the prize it could jeopordize both their high school and collegiate eligibility though

the father should've def kept his mouth shut but in all fairness the kid didn't deserve to win it.it's like me askin you to hold my lottery tickets for me while i use the bathroom and my numbers come out.do you get to keep my money just cause you've got my tickets? hell no...i'll hunt you down,lol. does suck tho.50k comes in real handy in these times...
