Ill be going to the parents. Thanksgiving usually turns into an eating competition between me and my brother. One year it was soo bad we had $10 on it and my grandmother paid my brother the $10 to stop eating.

Just me and the wife this year, things are tighter this year and I am a little to tired to make a 1200 mile round trip for a day or two.

I'm going to go all out for food...no holds barred...I figure a good meal such as this only comes a few times a year, including X-Mas!

Did you ever make a chocolate chip pecan pie? It is to die for and very easy too!

haha, you know it. you must be another food network fan too huh? you have to try paula's bourbon pecan pie. if you dont like bourbon flavor then cut the measure in half it still gives it the bourbon sweetness but it isnt over bearing

It's just going to be my gf and me this year. We are going to start cooking tonight and have enough leftovers to last the two of us a week. I cant wait.

Since we now have the room for it, we are having dinner in the new house. 13 guest for a 1pm feast. Antipast and tons of finger food, good ole turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, cresent rolls, biscuits, and enough desert to ruin the towns diet. Its going to be awesome.
