Anyone have any special activites or things the family does evry year? Some people around our area get together and play football in the early morning.

When I was growing up, it was playing football in the morning, watching football the rest of the time and then eating. Now, it's all about eating all day, watching football, and then off to work for me!

when we would go back to our hometown it would be go hunting till about 11 then it was the mad dash to 6 different places to eat. wife has a step family as well so it adds 2 more onto the equation. now we just stay at our new home and eat and watch football. we normally put our christmas tree up on thanksgiving day but the mrs got motivated and put it up a wk early. i refuse to travel after my last 2 times of sitting in traffic mad as a pinned up bull

My lil one, and I, watch the parade from downtown Chicago, and also the Macy's parade! We do this every year and one year I hope to actually be at that parade! The day after Thanksgiving is when we usually put up all the Xmas decor and the tree!!!
