Three New Bouts Set for FUEL TV in July

Three just-made bouts have been verbally agreed to for UFC on FUEL TV 4 that will feature the best of the UFC's two lightest weight classes.

At bantamweight, TUF 14 finalist TJ Dillashaw will face British submission specialist Vaughan Lee. Both fighters are coming off very impressive performances in their last outings in February; Dillashaw dominated for three rounds at UFC on FUEL TV in Omaha, while Lee tapped out fan favorite Kid Yamamoto at UFC 144 in Japan.

Also at 135 pounds, Raphael Assuncao will face Issei Tamura. Both men are looking to firmly entrench themselves in the UFC bantamweight division. Assuncao's first outing at the lower weight was a success and he looks to build momentum and move up the rankings as he did at featherweight. Tamura made his UFC debut in February on short notice and it couldn't have been better, as he scored a stunning knockout victory.

The UFC flyweight division continues to grow as more contenders enter the fray. UFC veteran Chris Cariaso is moving into the 125-pound weight class along with Josh Ferguson, who competed on the last season of The Ultimate Fighter. The two will meet at the July 11 event.

Munoz vs. Weidman to Headline Summer FUEL TV Event updated April 24
Powerhouse middleweight wrestlers Chris "All American" Weidman and Mark "The Filipino Wrecking Machine" Munoz will battle in the five-round main event of UFC on FUEL TV, the just-announced July 11 fight night. The news was announced on the April 24 edition of FUEL TV's UFC Tonight.

In January, the undefeated Weidman replaced Munoz on the [URL="http://www.infinitymuscle.event/UFCFox2"]UFC on FOX fight card on less than two weeks' notice when Munoz was injured and forced to withdraw from his bout against Chael Sonnen. Michael Bisping, who'd been slated to fight Demian Maia at that same event, was tapped to fight Sonnen instead, and Weidman stepped in against Maia. Weidman defeated Maia by unanimous decision; Munoz did the same against Maia last June at UFC 131.
