The only thing that the goodhearted boys from Superbad and American Pie ever wanted was to lose their virginity before college. According to a new survey, though, their dream -- which they share with many other young, red-blooded males -- is fading because women are waiting longer than ever to lose their virginity. The "Ultimate College Girl Survey” recently examined 2,600 chicks aged 17 to 23 and found that 69% of these women didn’t lose their virginity until they turned 18. Also, 43% of them were still chaste at the time of the survey. That was actually the second study to find similar results, as the Center for Disease Control and Prevention found that sexual activity from 15- to 19-year-old girls declined from 51% in 1988 to 43% in 2006-10.This is surprising news, considering we thought the numbers were heading in the other direction thanks to pop-culture phenomena like Girls.But don’t fret -- maybe that just means blowjobs are on the rise.
