Porn is Coming to Google Glass

We all knew as soon as Google Glass was announced that,sooner rather than later, the porn industry would use the technology to offer newexperiences to guys. Well, as you can see in the video below, MiKandi (Android’sleading developer of adult apps) is getting ready to release the first Glass-based pornapp. What does this mean? Well, the production of POV scenes is about to get less awkward,with the need for a camera guy awkwardly hovering above the performers is now completelyeliminated. So expect a flood of new POV scenes that boast that they were shot on GoogleGlass.

The real game changers, however, will be in how guysconsume pornography. In MiKandi's new world, Google can update you whenever yourfavorite performer releases a new scene, and can identify what kind of sex toys are beingused before showing you where to buy your own. The portable, hands-free viewing abilitieswill keep distractions at bay and allow you to enjoy a video from almost anywhere.

And therein lies the ugly downside to the porn tech revolution. People alreadyconsume porn in places that are less than appropriate -- like airports, libraries andother places that offer free Wi-Fi. Now it'll be even easier, potentially creating a worldin which anyone sporting Glass will be subject to suspicion over what they're watching...or shooting.

It was bound to happen, and now that it has. We'll have to waitand see whether porn works for or against fledgling Google Glass.
