Fuzo and I went to see our daughter's Brownie troop Xmas caroling at a nursing home. The elderly people really enjoyed it. You could just see it in their face. I believe that children bring joy to old people. It was nice but it was also sad. How many people there are just dumped off by their children? I bet many are. The food on some of their plates was all puried and it looked terrible. It really can put your life in perspective when you see this. Enjoy life everyday and appreciate it.
i bet they did enjoy it. it is sad how old people are treated in some places. i had to do community service and one of the things we had to do is go to sam's and pick up food that was outdated and brought to the nursing home. i was pretty upset about it.
Its a happy thing to see but then its got a little sad to see these old people have no emotion on their face. Now some did enjoy it but the majority didnt know what was going on.
They probably enjoyed every bit of it. It's sad to see how lonely some of them are as well as how they live.
