Assisted suicide

I watched a HBO program last night and it was people that were terminaly sick and not going to live and in Oregon they have a law that you can have assisted suicide. I watched this last night and there was a very nice lady named cody and she was in her 50's and had liver cancer and she wanted her stpry filmed and at the end they made the mixture of this cocktail and she drank it and they didnt show her but shoed her by a far outside looking in her bedroom through the drapes and you kinda see her laying there and she is talking and saying she loves everyone and then she starts to say she is getting sleepy and she starts to feel in peace finaly and she didnt cry at the end because she was relaxed and then she passed away. This was very difficult to watch and so sad that we as a nation dont have cures for cancer or any other diseases. I for one cant say I would ever do that but eho knows how we will all feel if we were knowingly going to die.Very sad

yeah man that is crazy sad. i do believe that if someone is terminal and they have no chance of living as well as being in severe pain that they or a trusted loved one should be able to make this decision. i wouldnt want to be the one that had to do it but i believe it should be available

There is a 91 yr old woman in LA who makes a suicide kit and sells it on the internet at $65 each. Basically its a plastic bag with some fabric around the bottom (neck) and some tubes coming out of it where you hook it up to a CO tank. The news story was sad but hey I don't know what I'd resort too if I had a life sentence.

I BELIEVE IF THATS SOMEONES WISH TO GO THAT WAY THEN THEY SHOULD HAVE THAT RIGHT.. LIKE GEEZER SAID THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH GOING OUT THE WAY YOU WANT

i agree... to me the goverment has no right to tell some one who is in the state to be able to leave this world the way they want. i for one would not want to live has a vegetable while my wife spends every min taking care of me. to me thats not life...
