hey guys just wanted to say to all the power lifters on the board that Metal Militia is throwing a bench bash for cash meet on Saturday April 24th at the Fort William Henry motel and resort. $1,000 goes to all first place finishers and so forth for second and third. not sure if anyone will be in the Upstate NY area or is close by but some of the best lifters will be there. such as Joe Mazza, Gene Rycheck and some others. The amatures lift at 11:00 am and the pros start at 5:00 pm if you want to lift You can contact the Adirondack Barbell Clud. Fort William Henry is Located in Lake George, NY.

I'm wondering if my old high school buddy knows about this....Lance Kirchner.....he's done 560-580 in competition and I think he was in the 181lb class when he did it.....

Man Id love to go to that comp. I mean with payouts that good you know there is going to be some serious lifts. To bad it isnt closer to me.

That's really cool for someone to put up some cash for a PL meet. Don't see that very often.
