For those of you who aren't versed in skateboard-speak, a 1080 means three complete spins in the air. Sure, it looks easy (check it out below), but nobody has ever pulled it off -- until now. Twelve-year-old Tom Schaar made it happen. Red Bull agreed to team up with Schaar in order to close the 50-foot gap in the middle of the MegaRamp Schaar had been practicing on, allowing him to drop in on the 70-foot-tall MegaRamp and roll right over the giant gap.
