TODAY AT 6:04PM IN THE DAY LIGHT.
A GUY CROSSED MY GREEN LIGHT.

I HIT HIM BASICALLY DEAD HEAD ON, WHILE DOING 75K AN HOUR.
I DRIVE OR DROVE A CHRYSLER 300 WHICH IS A FAIRLY HEAVY CAR.

I REMEMBER SEEING THE GUY, AND THINKING, NO WAY HE WILL CROSS THE LIGHT....WELL AS I GOT CLOSER THE GUY DECIDED TO TAKE A RUN FOR IT.
I REMEMBER CLOSING MY EYES, AND NOT EVEN HAVING TIME TO HIT THE BREAKS.

AS I CLOSED MY EYES, MY HANDS WENT UP TO PROTECT MY FACE, AND WHEN I OPENED MY EYES, THE FIRST THING I LOOKED AT WAS MY LEGS, I WANTED TO BE OK...AND MY LEGS WERE FINE.
THE AIR BAG ALMOST RIPPED MY NOSE OPEN, BUT HAS MADE MY CHIN BLEED, AND MY RIGHT HAND IS RED FROM THE IMPACT.

I WAS WEARING MY SEAT BELT.
HE GOT TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL AND UNDER BAD CONDITIONS.

THE POLICE SAID THAT HE WAS 100% AT FAULT.

MY CAR IS A WRITE OFF, IT CANNOT BE SAVED.

I HAVE TRIED TO POST PICS, BUT I CAN'T SEEM BE ABLE TO.

I AM THANKFUL TO BE ALIVE AND TO BE IN GOOD CONDITIONS. IT WAS NOT MY TIME YET.

Tweetgod blessed you that day bro. I hope you make a speedy recovery from the injuries you do have. I was in a bad accident as a teen, got rear ended while i was waiting to make a left hand turn off of a highway. The guy behind me hit me at 75mph and spun me 270 degrees and put into on coming traffic. Luckily no one else hit me and i walked away with just stitches for physical injuries but for many years i would feel like the accident was going to happen again everytime i was waiting to make a left. That anxiety sucked.

I am home today all day. My head is a mess. I can't believe this.

I need to let this sink in...

And get a rental, and shop for a car...it is going to be a truck again. I want to be safe. What a mess!!!!
