Researchers from Oxford University determined thatfat from a meal does not pass go, does not collect $200 and goes directly to yourwaistline -- as quickly as three hours after consumption.The study examineshow long it takes the body to convert the meal into fatty tissue, and the conclusion wasthat the average person can add up to three teaspoons of fat to their waistline withinhours, which would easily double Audrina Patridge’s size.The good newsis that the fat is placed in short-term storage and can be used for energy duringexercise.
