Size does matter to women -- when it comes to height. We’ve long known that women are more attracted to taller men, and a new study from the University of Utah explains that it’s actually evolutionary.Back in the olden days -- we’re talking caveman days -- men who were first to be upright on two feet had an advantage over those stuck on all fours. They could hit harder and hit downward, which gave standing, upright men a clear fighting advantage. For women, it wasn’t solely important for the man to win fights; it was important to be with a man who could better defend the resources and family. While that reasoning is less relevant for most women nowadays, researchers believe that this primal focus has been rooted subconsciously and still factors in to assessments of men.Women are often focused on being fruitful and multiplying, so it’s not surprising they’re more attracted to a man they think will not only protect them but will also have good genes to pass down.
