TweetI started feeling shitty tuesday of last week and took a few days off of the gym and thought my cold had passed. Then last weekend i started to get a tickle in my throat. Little by little i started getting more and more congested during the week and the coughing started. My wife was the second one to get it and by mid week my son was congested too. I took the week of from training, which sucks because i had hit an all time high bodyweight of 223, but i knew i needed to focus on fighting this cold. The nice thing was being home in the am with my son and wife. We had a lot of quality time and it was priceless. As always when i get sick my appetite goes to shit and i also didnt feel like prepping as much so i dropped back down to 215 as of friday. My wife said the difference in the definition of my abs was a dead give away that i lost weight. I also cut back on my gear and just did a maintenance shot last sunday and today. My plan is to get back on track monday depending on what happens with this hurricane. I'm still fighting the chest cold today but i think it will begin to subside in the coming days. Wish me luck and i'll try to get on here more frequenty to share.

Tweeti decided to self medicate with mucinex and nyquil and after going to the doctor today i have fluid in 3/4 of my lungs. He set me up with levoquid?, a very strong antibiotic. I feel bad for anyone who gets sick from me. There was so much going on last week i didn't even think about going to the doctor.

be easy in the gym and lifting anything that is remotely heavy for 3-4wks after stopping those. they make your tendons easy to tear, trust me i found out the hard way

Tweetwent back to the doc on monday and my lungs are still just as bad as they were 12 days ago. HE gave me a zpack and cexfuroxime this time round so we will see how it goes. The levoquin did seem to get rid of the rest of my symptoms but the cough and congestion is still plaguing me. Sucks to be sick for an entire month. I did start back to the gym full on this week and so far so good. I will be taking tomorrow off and probably the whole weekend. I'm off work thurs and friday so it'll be a nice four day weekend.

Tweetmy family was all sick everyone at work was sick...was washing my hands every 20 mins trying not to get it but you know what...I got it and took two weeks to get out of my system.
