Default For those of you who use Mozilla/Firefox

Have you ever run into this message?

I got it when trying to access another board.

It says to contact the site owners tell them about the problem. I don't think that a site owner is going to give a rat's ass if one person can't log on to his site.

Since FF is a more secure browser I'd say that is a problem they'd want to know about.

I agree, it's just that I have signed on to that particular board before, using Firefox and now its not working.

      Strange days indeed.

      Thanks.

Hmm try closing the browser and reopening. If that doesnt work then Id try a restart. I always use FF it just seems to work much better for the stuff I do.

Ive never seen a message like the one I got. It couldnt connect me to a site and said" Oh, this is quite embarrassing, Fire Fox will correct this error shortly."

Strange.....like I was talking to a real person!!!!!! Weird actually.

My Firefox crashed all the time! Like every 10-30 seconds. Big pain in my ass When I used "Control+Alt+Delete" to bring up the Task Manager, it showed Firefox was using 90-95% of my computers resources (to do Nothing I might add!! GGRRR!!). I always had to terminate the process and try again. But nothing seemed to work so I switched to Explorer.

Good news though! Mozilla released Firefox 3.5.2 yesterday. It's suppose to fix the 3 major problems the older versions had with crashes and locking up. I've only used it for one day but so far so good.

Maybe you guys with problems should upgrade to the newer version?

I actually have the latest version of Firefox.
I tried going to the site using Internet Explorer and it can't display the website. So it appears that the site must be down. Thanks for the replies.

It's just the message I got from FF doesn't say that the site is down.

My new Firefox seems to be working much better than the older version. It's only crashed once in the past 24 hours. That about 10x better than the older version was.

But for some reason when I click on FONT COLORS link above the message I'm writing, the color menu won't open up.

Hey computer experts, is this a Firefox problem or a new board problem?

      thanks

I used to have a problem where the browser would suddenly go dead. Nothing works and it lasts for about 2 minutes, which is too long if you're on an important (non-porn) site or working online. But the crash doesn't happen as often as it used to before I ended up shutting down my computer and re-starting with the start up CD. The only problem is that I have to remember all of my important websites that I was on.
