Default PS80 aka Polysorbate 80- WARNING

Many companies use this chemical in cosmetics, various foods, and nutritional supplements. Its also found in various drugs made by fully licensed and legal pharmaceutical manufacturers. Underground steroid manufacturers also use it to hold many drugs such as testosterone, in water based suspension as it keeps the flakes from sticking (caking) as well as keeping the solvents mixed with the water.

PS80 is very dangerous and should not be used by anyone for any reason IMO!

Let me paste some info I found on the web about this chemical so you can see what I'm talking about.

      Polysorbate 80 Causes Infertility
An Emulsifier That Can Damage Your Reproductive Health
      © Joanna Karpasea-Jones

      Jul 15, 2008
A common emulisfier in cosmetics, vaccines and even ice cream, has been proven to damage fertility.

Polysorbate 80 (also known as tween 80) is a stabilizer used in a wide variety of products including ice cream, milk products, vitamin tablets, lotions and creams and medical products like vaccines and anti-cancer medications.

It is toxic and should not be eaten, drunk, put on the skin or injected.

According to Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, Volume 95, Number 6, December 2005 , pp. 593-599(7), "it is of current relevance as a 'hidden' inductor of anaphylactoid reactions", and "Polysorbate 80 was identified as the causative agent for the anaphylactoid reaction of nonimmunologic origin in the patient. Conclusions: Polysorbate 80 is a ubiquitously used solubilizing agent that can cause severe nonimmunologic anaphylactoid reactions."

Put in plain English, polysorbate 80 can affect your immune system and cause severe anaphylactic shock which can kill.

The study included a pregnant woman who suffered anaphylactic shock after being given a IV drip of multi-vitamins containing polysorbate 80.

In addition to this, there have been numerous studies which show that the stabilizer causes infertility:

Gajdova M, Jakubovsky J, Valky J.Delayed effects of neonatal exposure to Tween 80 on female reproductive organs in rats. Food Chem Toxicol. 1993 Mar;31(3):183-90. PMID: 8473002.

Baby female rats were injected with polysorbate 80 at days 4-7 after birth. It accelerated the maturing of the rats and caused changes to the vagina and womb lining, hormonal changes, ovary deformities and degenerative follicles.

According to the World Intellectual Property Organization, which is part of the United Nations, scientists from the organization are developing vaccines specifically to damage fertility as a method of contraception. A suggested ingredient for the vaccine is tween 80 (polysorbate 80):

"In a preferred embodiment the vaccine comprises oil, preferably a biodegradable oil such as squalene oil. Typically, the vaccine is prepared using an adjuvant concentrate which contains lecithin in squalene oil. The aqueous solution glycoprotein is typically a phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) solution, and additionally preferably contains Tween 80."

(Fertility Impairing Vaccine And Methods of Use' This application claims the benefit of U. S. Provisional Application No. 60/070,375, filed January 2,1998, U. S. Provisional Application No. 60/071,406, filed January 15,1998).

As it is a preferred ingredient, scientists are obviously aware of its ability to cause infertility.

Polysorbate 80 is in shampoo and bubble bath, and the dairy industry uses it in ice cream to help retain the shape of the ice cream and to prevent it from melting so quickly after it has been removed from a freezer. Perhaps before you visit the ice cream section of your supermarket, you should re-think your purchase.

More worrying is the new Gardasil cervical cancer vaccine which is being injected into girls aged 9-26.

“Gardasil contains Polysorbate 80, which is linked to infertility in mice,” noted Dee Nicholson, National Communications Director for Freedom in Canadian Health Care.

It is stated clearly in the manufacturer's information sheet that comes with the vaccine.

Make sure you read it before you get a shot, as theoretically it could damage your reproductive health. Women who were vaccinated in pregnancy or very close to conceiving have also suffered miscarriages as a result, according to the USA's watchdog, Judicial Watch. They uncovered several reports of spontaneous abortions from the FDA after using the Freedom of Information Act to request the information.

Take charge of what you eat, use or inject to ensure that your body is as fit and healthy as possible.

Here's some more dangers about the product-

      Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80)

      Generic Name: Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) (dar-be-POE-e-tin AL-fa (POL-ee-SOR-bate))
      Brand Name: Aranesp

Clinical studies have shown Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) to increase the risk of serious side effects (eg, blood clots, stroke, heart attack, heart failure) and death in some cases. It has also been shown to shorten overall survival and/or increase the risk of tumor growth or recurrence in patients with certain types of cancer. Talk with your doctor about the risks and benefits of using Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) .

Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) is used for:

Treating anemia in patients with chronic kidney failure or certain types of cancers. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) is similar to the natural protein human erythropoietin. It works by stimulating the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells. An increased number of red blood cells may reduce symptoms of anemia.

Do NOT use Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) if:
you are allergic to any ingredient in Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) or similar medicines (eg, erythropoietin)
you are allergic to products made from mammalian cells
you have uncontrolled or severe high blood pressure, or you have certain red blood cell problems (eg, certain types of aplasia)
Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you.

Before using Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) :
Some medical conditions may interact with Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) . Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:

if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement
if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances
if you have a vitamin B or folic acid deficiency
if you have a blood disease (eg, sickle cell anemia, porphyria, hemolytic anemia, thalassemia)
if you have high blood pressure, heart problems (eg, congestive heart failure), blood in your stools, seizures, recent infection or injury, cancer, certain bone problems (eg, osteofibrosis cystica), or inflammatory conditions (eg, bowel disease, rheumatoid arthritis)

Ask your health care provider if Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) may interact with other medicines that you take. Check with your health care provider before you start, stop, or change the dose of any medicine.

How some people use Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) :
Use Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.

Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) comes with an extra patient information sheet called a Medication Guide. Read it carefully. Read it again each time you get Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) refilled.
Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) is usually given as an injection at your doctor's office, hospital, or clinic. If you will be using Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) at home, a health care provider will teach you how to use it. Be sure you understand how to use Darbepoetin Alfa (Polysorbate 80) . Default Re: PS80 aka Polysorbate 80- WARNING

1st- I will admit that statement was a set up that did'nt get replied to for a long time.

2nd- The original topic was Polysorbate 80 which is an emulsifier. "Emulsifiers help bind ingredients together and keep them from separating, most commonly with OIL and WATER. It is also a surfactant – a substance which reduces the surface tension of a liquid – which results in an easier, smoother spread."
So if one were to find another safer emulsifier it/they could combine castor oil and water. At which point Hydrogenated Castor Oil would be justified.
hence my suggestion of Castor oil which I was hoping one would reply to so I could ask about what kind of castor oil they were using.

however you spoke of propylene glycol.
Do you mean this propylene Glycol?:

"In fact, PG penetrates the skin so quickly that the EPA warns factory workers to avoid skin contact, to prevent brain, liver, and kidney abnormalities."

propylene glycol has been linked to many severe health problems including contact dermatitis (irritation), auto toxicity, kidney damage and liver abnormalities. It has been shown to be toxic to human cells in cultures. (Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology, Jan. 1987) In fact, in tests conducted over the years propylene glycol has been shown to inhibit skin cells growth in human tests and cell respiration in animal tests. (J. Pharm. Belg. Nov/Dec 1989). It was found to cause skeletal muscular damage in rats and rabbits (Pharm Res Sept. 1989). It is reported to directly alter cell membranes (Human Reproduction, Feb 1990) to cause thickening of the skin (contact dermatitis, 1987) skin dehydration and chronic surface damage to skin ( Derm. Beruf Umwelt July/Aug, 1988) It was also shown to increase beta activity (changes found in anxiety states) when inhaled. (The Medical Post Sept 27, 1994.)
Propylene glycol is a known irritant and sensitizer causing dryness, erythema (abnormal redness) and even blistering. (Safety Evaluation of a Barrier Cream, Contact Dermatitis, 17:10-12, 1987)
Despite its record, propylene glycol continues to appear in our everyday products. It was originally developed for use in industry as an anti-freeze, brake fluid, airplane de-icer among other applications and it's doing a good job there.
In fairness, the producers of these products are not doing anything illegal. They use Propylene Glycol and other questionable substances, for three reasons ….
      They do the JOB
They’re CHEAP - (In most cases the cap on the bottle costs more that the ingredients inside)
      They’re ALLOWED!
      Think About It ….
What would you do if you were the Big Cheese at PROPYL & GLYCOL with corporate profits to fatten? You probably wouldn’t offer to do a study and you sure wouldn’t change anything else without being able to justify additional costs to your stockholders.
And if you think Anti-Freeze ingredients in your expensive cosmetics and personal care items is disgusting …. It’s just the tip of the iceberg!
How it got into our cosmetics 30 years ago is anyone's guess but it's time it was taken out of our personal care products and kept off our bodies.!"
Testimonial: 7-5-04 - "Thank you for the information. I just wanted to share an experience with you. I started having problems with getting rashes on various parts of my body. I went to the dermatologist and he did a "Patch Test" in which he taped 45 different substances commonly found in everyday products that people's skin may come into contact with to see if I'd react to any. Well, the one containing propylene glycol blistered. How could manufacturers put that harmful ingredient into shampoos, soaps, body washes, laundry detergent, lotions, etc. I can't believe it. I went to an organic store and bought all new stuff. Just wanted to share" Katie
      Toxic Ingredient References

In 1938, the FDA grandfathered the use of several ingredients as safe for personal care items, with restrictions of course. Based on what? There were no studies on repeated exposure over time.
The problem is PROPYLENE GLYCOL may be absorbed through the skin. Studies have shown SYSTEMIC retention (residue throughout).

Default Re: PS80 aka Polysorbate 80- WARNING

Now in my opinion these self proclaimed chemists that make most gear should stick to only chemicals as chemists are great at finding what works but sometimes horrendous(terrible) when it comes to biological safety and compatibility, health concerns and microbiology and lab science and aeseptic technique to GMP standards. And just forget about air pressure equalizing and carrying bacteria etc....

PLEASE, ALL GENTLEMEN WHO USE DIRTY-ASS, HEAVY METAL CONTAINING, POLLUTED, CHINESE POWDERS AND "CHEMISTS" who only care about what will make hormones hold and make shots painless and go through a pussy 29g needle- UNDERSTAND YOU ARE PUTTING YOUR HEALTH AT RISK!
AND WORSE "GUYS" (my nicest term) WHO SELL YOU THIS AND ONLY CARE ABOUT YOU GETTING RESULTS SO THEY CAN SELL YOU MORE- and this dont include lying bullshitters who do shit like sell EQ or Masteron Enan as Primobolan- STOP AND TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT BEYOND WHATS IN THE MIRROR BROS! You can get that same look AND BE HEALTHY! I'm not gonna toot my own horn as I just found out today that I am getting my Pharmaceutical Manufacturers' License- Instead- I'm gonna ask you to ask questions like: 1- do you use sterilized vials? 2- How are they sterilized? 3-how do you sterilize your media bottles? 4-Do you have a picture of the flow hood you supposedly have with your gear next to it labelled? 5- Why do you need to double or triple filter your gear? That statement always cracks me up! 6- why the fuck do you need to filter more than once? 7- How do you sterily transfer your media from regeant or media bottles into sterile vials? 8- how do you prevent air pressure from carrying bacteria into your media when you remove the filter and put top on bottle/container? 9- when brewing -a- what do you brew in? b- how do you clean and/or sterilize the container you brew in between brewing different medias? c- and very importantly- How do you prevent pollutants in the air from getting into what your "brewing" while your doing it? I'm asking you all: what do you think would happen if a pollutant with a lower melting point than your brewing temp- (for example: fecal matter[microscopic {at best} shit] or a virus that can survive high temps or one that might get in media after it cools to a certain temp?) ????

So just my opinion: it makes me fucking sick that people give these fucks their $ when these fucks dont give a fuck about your health and even if they did they dont know how to assure it at the deepest level. Even if they figure out they are putting you at risk long term or short term- they proove they dont give a fuck by keeping putting out whatever it takes to make a $!
I swear to God- if I just made the typical UG gear and knew that I could'nt be responsible for your health or would'nt take any responsibility- I'd do something else. There needs to be some heart in this fake ass brotherhood. How the fuck do you not love your brother? These fucks rather just pacify or appease their brother or their egos and get for themselves- that's HORSESHIT. That's worse than the govt, LE and powers that be! And honestly it justifies them! All I'm sayin is be a real bro and watch out for your brother. And dont let anyone treat you otherwise!

Brother you know my redneck ass puts it all in laymens terms as much as possible. If theirs' one thing I hate it's one who values their education over others and puts everything into un-understandable terms regardless of anothers ability to understand it. We were all uneducated once. talking above someones head is inconsiderate.
