When I was buying my mp3 player I was looking at the ipod shuffles and the people who worked there told me that -- it is why I didn't buy one. But on a side note I just ordered DirectTV and am getting a free ipod shuffle in the mail... so I will be able to give a good opinion once I use it

If I was to go the ipod route I would get a shuffle too... the clip is a good idea and it's super tiny.
