TweetHey bro, if your looking for ipods, best buy has alot of stuff. I got an apple ipod there a while ago for like ninety bucks, and you can store around 230-240 songs on it.
I would agree... and the replacement warrenty from them is well worth it...
I had mine 2 1/2 years and it crapped out,,... and because i had the seperate 3 year warrenty from Best Buy .. they replaced it !!!... brand ne 40gig video version....
So I would say Best Buy is the best buy for the ipods..
PLUS ... i-Pods ROCK !!!!!

TweetI am not a big fan of the apple i-pod because if the music you d/l is copywritten then you need to buy it from i-tunes which is $1 a song. If you're just using it for the gym you can get away with buying an mp3 player for a bit less. I went with Samsung.... I bought 2. The 1st one from Walmart for $70 and the 2nd one refurbished, same model for $30 on ebay. They both work great, charge by plugging into my computer and I use limewire to D/L the songs and then just transfer them to the mp3 player.
Tweethey dude i would definately go with an Ipod Shuffle. That is what i have its like 80 bucks and perfect for the gym because its so light you dont notice it at all and you can clip it onto your cloths just about anywhere.
Tweetgotta get a nano man. Like the dude said earlier Best Buy is great for the warranty, and If you love music and have lots the nano can get you 2-8 gigs depending on how much money you have. Nano is way better for resisstance training (wont get in your way not to bulky almost as small as a shuffle) but for cardio nothing beats the video Ipod. Just download a season of your fav show and youve got (20+) 45 min sessions of blissful distraction filled cardio!
TweetTemptation you may be doing something wrong..I have an Ipod nano with tons of mp3's downloaded off of limewire...no need to by off of Itunes...as a matter of fact I have yet to buy a song from Itunes all my music is from Limewire or torrent sites...
TweetWhen I was buying my mp3 player I was looking at the ipod shuffles and the people who worked there told me that -- it is why I didn't buy one. But on a side note I just ordered DirectTV and am getting a free ipod shuffle in the mail... so I will be able to give a good opinion once I use it
If I was to go the ipod route I would get a shuffle too... the clip is a good idea and it's super tiny.
TweetFrom personal experience, I would just go on ebay and search. You can find them pretty cheap like temptation said. Ive found out all mp3 players that are name brand hold up pretty much the same. Just dont settle for a small amount of storage.
TweetBro...I got my third one now over the years. Passed all the others down to family members. But hey...sounds crazy but check the PAWN shops in your area. Kids are stealen and selling these things like crazy. Buddy just picked up a 30GIG for 100bucks!! Look into it.
