Im sick for you bro you had him for a long time and im sure you gave him a great life.
I also have a red nose the one in my avatar he's 11 and starting to have some issues. My friend breads them he gave him to me when my brother and sister in law died in a car accident in 1999. Im dreading the day he goes but sometimes better they go a little early then get old and suffer a bit. Im really sorry bro I wish dogs lived a bit longer then they do.

yea its tough... he was old and it showed but every day when i got home he would come and find me so i could pet him. he was blind he would bounce his way thru the house to find me.. if i went into the bedroom and he was sleeping on the floor some how he knew i left the room and come into the bedroom with me don't know how he knew but he did you could count on it almost to the sec. 5mins after you were in there he was coming. he didn't get around that well so i would carry him to bed every night.thats what amazed me he couldn't get around well but every night when i got home from the gym he would know it and come looking for me...

it happened fast tuesday night glad he didn't suffer. he ate barked at th back door and 5mins later he was gone...

he is the last one i had...when me and the wife got divorced in 2008 i had 8 now there all gone....

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

Tweetthanks for the kind words guys... i am thankful i had him as long as i did. i am glad looking back that i changed my sat work day to when i didn't have him and the last 2weekends i had him i had some friends in town and i didn't go out i chose to stay home with him all weekend both weekends i am thankful i did this now. i hurt my shoulder monday night doing chest so tuesday i didn't go to the gym and came home and spent the last few hrs he was alive with him and for this i am thankful..he was a soldier i will give him that....he would of been 15 in dec.
