TweetLooking for an excel genius to help me out...any of you bros really good with it? I'm designing a spreadsheet in excel where I enter skinfold values (thickness of each skinfold site in mm). I have already set it up so that excel takes the average of the two trials at each site and sums the averages. Now the sum of skinfolds is entered into a different formula (I'm using the Jackson-Pollack 7 site method) based on whether the subject is male or female.
Here's my question:
Is there any way to set up a cell that uses one formula when the subject is male, and a different formula when the subject is female? Can I set something up where I enter "Male" or "Female" into a certain cell, and then based which word is entered into that cell, the cell displaying the %BF uses the appropriate formula? Hope that makes sense....
