      i have mixed feelings about legalization.......for the recovering addict legalizing will not stop them from doing it and probably make it worse........for others though they might stop since there would be no thrill of doing something not legal......

      good point too irish.it's a double edged sword.pros and cons are about equal in this case.i guess if it's not in you to use you won't.i beleive wholeheartedly that people who are/were addicted were born this way.i know some guys i grew up with that tried it and never went back.then there's guys like me who tried it and never CAME back...till i got a rude awakening that is.once an addict always an addict.acting upon those impulses or restraining yourself from them is what separates an active addict from one who will be in recovery for life,like yours truly...
