Might not be a bad idea. I think I should do it. Just to be legit. What has been your experience in getting a script for test? Are there some legit online places to get it done that don't cost an arm and a leg? Theres got to be some online MDs who will write a script. Or would you recommend that I find a local MD and go that route?

I wen to a local urologist and told him that I want to be put on HRT. What they will do is take blood and see where your test level is at and if its low then they should put you on it. But they might try the cream first. Tell them you have tried the cream and it gave you a rash every where you put it. I'm in my 40's so why now. I have a cool urologist

I would suggest a Local Doc...Its really easy and alot more convient than a online site that might be shut down next month!
I would go after a cycle and wait a couple weeks after last shot depending on what u were taking...Just to make sure ur T Levels are way below normal and a regiment of cyp 200 will prolly be prescribed every week to 2 weeks...The Lotion(cream) is a waste of time and if ur doc attempts to give u that product talk him outta it...Like posted above say u get a rash from that product or simply get a new Doc..IMO u pay the doc and if u arent getting the products u want than find another Doc that will.
Everything I say is Roll Play!

You could try SPECTRUM HRT BRO, they are out of Florida and I have used them before.Maybe Spectrumhrt.com?I will have to look it up as I haven't used them in awhile.Labs went up to $300. for blood work and I wasn't going there at the time. The good thing about them is I could order like five 10 cc bottles of test cyp . or whetever at a time but they would not let you reorder until those were used up at 1cc a week (along time) but I always supplemented with other gear from other sources.I wanted a legal script just in case. The way I dropped my levels sucked but paid off.I went cold turkey for around 2 to 3 months then hit them up for a blood test.Felt like shit but it worked ,LOL. Hit me up if anyone needs more info.

FUZO hit the nail on the head. Whatever you d, avoid the transdermals at all costs. If the dr insists, tell him you will go see someone else. That stuff is worthless and a pain in the ass.

      Default HRT?

I've had low T problems since my mid 20's, so HRT is nothing new to me. But most new Dr's (that I might go to because mine moved to another city/state) still don't want to prescribe it to me even if my T is low. All the steroid scandal publicity AAS have gotten over the past few years has really frightened them into not prescribing it. They probably think I'm (you're) an athlete or in some other way plan to use the medication for non-medical use. Or perhaps they are just worried they will be investigated by the DEA some day.

Whatever the reason, it doesnt matter. If you have low T, they should prescribe it. It's a legit medical condition and it's a LEGAL DRUG to treat it with. If your Dr. wont do it and says he wants to wait 6 mos and then test your blood again to see if the test levels come up on their own, explain to him that you've had this problem for years. You know that, because you have all the symptoms- low libido, low energy, no morning wood, mood swings, fat gain, and you're hardly ever in the mood to have sex with your GF or wife anymore. Hell, tell him halfway thru sex Mr (insert your penis name here) , falls asleep and goes limp. Tell him you noticed those changes happened gradually a couple years back and they've been getting worse ever since. You just havent felt like yourself, since then.

If your Dr is still not convinced, then go to another Dr. Sooner or later you will find one that will be sympathetic to your condition and give you a script for test.

Usually they will want to prescribe the gel or patches for most people. Tell him you'd prefer to go on the weekly shots because you've either: A) read on the internet that those 2 products are not very good at increasing a mans T levels, or that B) you've tried both of those before and you felt no results and they both irritated your skin. Maybe also the fact that lots of older men are raving about the positive effects of shots on the internet and several websites like WebMD. That the effectiveness of shots is like night and day when compared to the cream and/or patches. So you dont want to waste time trying things that are inferior or take much longer to have a positive effect on the human body than the injections would.

It might take you going to a couple Dr's before you find one, but sooner or later you will get one who will help you out.

It's also a good idea to NOT mention the fact that you've ever used AAS, anti-E's, or PCT items either. Because then they will really want to wait 6-12 mos before they give you another blood test. Not to mentin will think you are an abuser or renegade and will most likely not prescribe the shots to you ever.

      Hope that helps.

Forgot to mention, you will also need to have the following items checked besides just Total Testosterone and Free Testosterone.

LH, FSH, Thyroid, cholesterol, full Lipid + chem panel, Estradiol, GnRH, IGF-1, GhRH (Igfbp3 I think??), cortisol, Dhea, PSA (prostate check), and finaly liver + kidney values.
You should also get a full physical (with the dreaded hand-operated prostate check) if you havent had one done in the last 12 mos.

Once you get all the blood work done and get yourself a copy of it, LMK. I can refer you to a good HRT clinic if you'd like, and their prescription prices are pretty good.

You are right, but it is not always that easy to gets docs to test you for all of this. Some do test you for what you ask for but others won't. If it is a urologist that is prescribing it, he may not do all of this blood work up but an endocrinologist might.
