my new budget
I am truly amazed at how much my budget has changed going from a damn cheap apartment to our home. In the past i bought a new cell phone every year, bought whatever gear and some gh here and there. I own a few GASP items and the wife and I had a few very fun new years eves down at some nyc night clubs. One year we spent around 1k to get a vip table for 8 people(of which we only ended up with 6 so we ate the rest of the cost of the table), no one brought money to tip so the $225 gratuity for the moet and the grey goose was on us as well. We always did whatever pleased us. Now with the house and our $1755 per month mortage and taxes, the recent renovations to get the house livableand the on going improvements here and there, it really hit home how much we spoiled ourselves before. I had wanted to get an iphone because my blackberry is 2 years old but when i look at my paycheck every 2 weeks I can't imagine spending that money. Whenever I get a newsletter for sales on GASP stuff I realize those days are gone. Don't get me wrong I love a house and it's what you work towards during your younger adult years but it has really been a life changer.
I guess it's kinda like when you get married, part of you is sad for the single part of your life being permanently gone but the other is excited that you found that person and have moved into the next phase of life. Or when you go from just being a married couple to a family. At first the adjustment is tough and you miss some of the old way of life but nothing compares to interacting with your child. I miss being able to treat myself and my family to whatever we want but ilove that we have our home.

and the supplement budget has changed drastically as well. I use a basic preworkout, an intra workout, some bcaas and a multivitamin. My cycle is currently just a injectable prop/drol/dbol combo and some enanthate. No gh, so complex polydrug stacks.

Re: my new budget
Ya I still kinda kick myself for buying a house so early (22), if I woulda stayed at home longer I cant imagine the cash I'd have saved up. Houses are efn expensive. I was tight on cash until this year finally have money to do whatever I want again.

Re: my new budget
I would like to add that i wouldn't change anything in my life and that this has just continued to motivate me to keep working hard on want to keep moving up within my company. Nothing in this world compares to the amazing things my sons says at 2 1/2years old and i have the most supportive wife in the world(shes a little needy but aren't they all?lol). We had my cousins 5 yr old twins spend the night on friday and everyone had a blast. It was nice to see the next generation being so close. These kids truely love spending time together and that is priceless. As kids me and my cousins were all very close. Everyone saw each other on the holidays and it was great. As my generation began getting married and having kids the ability for us all to get together seemed less and less. Everyone now had inlaws to fit into their schedules and it made things very tough. My cousin was recently divorced and during that process we had a few heart to hearts and she even sat down with my wife to share some of her stories and it really meant a lot to my wife to be "let in" like that. We have begun focusing back on getting more extended family time in because at the end of the day those people will always welcome us. Wow, my estrogen levels must be spiking, this was quite a deep story to share, time for a 1g tesgt shot to get things balancd out.

Re: my new budget
Don't mind my ADD but getting back to the money side of things, isn't it funny what you can do when you have to? When i need to watch what i spend I do but when there was a ton of extra cash i spent most of it. Hind sight being 20/20, we could be much better off if I could budget the good times a little more like the tighter times.

Re: my new budget
I feel you there CE my son is due in March and I am trying to realize that it is not going to be about me anymore as I am very selfish. It is going to be ok though I won't regret a minute of it.
