john clayton of espn just explained how the waiver wires work.....everyone knows that denver released kyle orton yesterday and it's apparent the bears will attempt to sign him and save their season.....

here's how it works....1st opportunity goes to the teams with the worst records (KC, miami), then it goes to the teams with the EASIEST schedule: CHICAGO......i've said this many times, they're never more than an average team under lovie smith....they've ONLY had winning records under him when they've had a WEAK strength of schedule and the other years their record is terrible.......

so there you have it.....
