Default 2012 Fee Imposed by Health Care Law Will Pay for Drug Research

Starting in 2012, the government will charge a new fee to your health insurance plan for research to find out which drugs, medical procedures, tests and treatments work best. But the institute responsible for judging the results hasn't decided yet what to do with them.

That's going to be a new fee WE will have to pay..thru our premiums. And how unbiased will the research be? I have big doubts on that score as drug companies will lobby to have their people on the committee...which will only skew the research. Or else Big Pharma may refuse to share information...either way its scary
