TweetI won't even read it. I've heard so much and being a pit activist/ex-breeder and owner, it all gives ammo to the assholes that want to ban the breed completely. And "pitbull" is extremely ambiguous remember, there are actually 28 different type of bully dogs so to catergorize them as a single threat is like saying all hound dogs are bad because 3 types bit people this year.
Tweeti`m sorry....i didn`t mean to OFFEND ANY ONE by the post.
i always hear stories of this around boston.
if you read the article....the dogs tooth was actually stuck in the little boys calf.
i know there are some owners and breeders of pitbulls here, but hearing about little kids getting attacked sickens me.
TweetNothing personal bro. Most of us are just up in arms because of all the media hype and ignorance surrounding the breed. It is no different than when I see some F*cking baseball player having to go in front of our Congress to testify rather or not he used steroids or GH plastered all over the news and TV.
Here is the point, I agree that any dog attack, especially against children is sickening. I have one cousin whose child was attacked by their own cocker spaniel and another cousin whose child was attacked by their own brittany spaniel. Both need plastic surgery on their faces to cover up scarring. Was that even newsworthy? Apparently not. Not a word mentioned in the paper or on the news.
However, just recently two pit bulls got lose in my city. Somebody called the cops and when they showed up they shot them. Not because they were attacking anybody, simply because they were "dangerous animals that appeared aggressive". That is what ignites my fury. Due to all the headlines and the demonization of the breed because of a few irresponsible owners, now pit bulls lives are in danger if they are loose in my city.
TweetI just hate reading aobut lose pitbulls. If you're going to own them, make sure they can't break off a chain or aren't outside the house. Pitbulls are my dogs, I'd never own anything but, I will admit though that owners of pitbulls tend to be the most irresponsible type. Not all who own are but the 15 punk ass home boy that walks around 110 lbs soaking wet just wants a pit for the image and doesn't have the responsibilty of owning one. That's when things go south, not necassarily the dogs fault but the assholes that raise them fucked up.
TweetDAPIT26 and DEMONSWEAT.......you guys made some professional and good post! i respect!
Tweetlol. i could go into great detail but this is bodybuilding board but I am a member of several pitbull activist boards and communities. I love pits, hence the name I've had for 6 years
Tweettwo examples of dog charactoristics petey from the little rascles was a pitbull and never once bit his trainer but lassy wasnt a pit and bit her trainer several different occasions i have noticed that society has animosity towards everything that represents power and strength and i think that its because a majority of society is weak and its related to the overcompensiation factor the weak dont want to be reminded that theyre weak so they gang up on the images that represent strength and i think that people need to embrace true strength and in my opion pitbulls have always been a perfect representative of physical dominance as well as goofyness and individuality what other dog comes inso many different colors and patterns i have been around pitbulls my whole life and i wouldnt have any other breed of dog period!!!!
