well since psychology is a "gray area" subject and there's really no "black and white".....she's full of shit.....however, you CAN "psych" yourself into feeling sick or worse and they hormones your brain produces can wear down your immune system.....read up on hypochondria and variations of hypochondria....i did a paper on it during summer semester i can email you
