I stopped taking my ambiens because I would wake up and go grab something to eat and wake up the next morning and I would be covered with Ice Pop ( sugar free of course) all over me and in my bed. This happened to me 3-4 times and I never knew i got up.........

From what I have read so far, that's what happens to all of those who take ambien. You do things that you can't remember and I must say that it's a bit scary. On the other hand, it's not addictive like most sleeping pills.
